Walking Through The Rising - Tour guide cover detail

The design of this book centres on conveying the history of a section of Dublin's North Inner City and serve as a functional guide to the area.

Photography is key to the overall look of the book and was given as much priority as possible while keeping the book to a practical size for ease of use.

A fold-out map provides a guide to the tour. The points of interest are colour coded and this is carried through to each chapter of the book.

Finally, this book not only serves as a guide to an area of historical importance but also as a snapshot of how people lived in the city at the time.
