SliderStraw® is an innovative reusable drinking straw distributed in Ireland by 4rbrands.
The key requirements for the SliderStraw® packaging were to create visibility in the busy environment of the eco straw market and to highlight ease of use and functionality.
In relation to colour the standard market model is to use white with colour highlights. I proposed moving away from this by introducing a bright colour palette that would compliment and contrast the straws and pop on point of sale displays.
A solution, in tandem with photography, for showing the unique functionality of the product was to use the wording with the simple addition of arrows to indicate movement. This was extended to a badge graphic that appears on point of sale displays.
